Hotel reservation confirmation letter for Schengen Visa?

Hi All

I wish to apply for Schengen Visa on mid of June along with my wife. When we made the hotel reservation they have included only the name of my wife who did the reservation through the hotel web site. (The Web site doesn't have the option to enter the second person's name). But the letter mentions that the hotel has been reserved for two adults and the check-in-date and check-ot-date etc. Could you please let me know whether the reservation letter should contain both of us names or just one name is fine. I heard The french embassy is very strict about this matter.....
