Switching from WP to Tier 1 -General.

Hi,
I have a UK Work permit ( Multiple Entry ). I have worked in UK fro 2 months on this Work Permit and it is valid for another 15 months .
The Work permit was processed by the company .
I am in India now and would like to switch over from this Work Permit (Company Specific ) to a Tier 1 General Category .
Please share the process and the timeline for the same .

Hi,
I will be applying from India.

I also qualify as per the point calculator on the website.

I know the process for a fresh application .I need to know how I can change over from company specific Work Permit to Tier 1 -General .
