Immigration & Nationality Directorate .....Reference Num

I am going to fill in Form AN for naturalisation.

Would somebody tell me where I can find the Immigration and Nationality Directorate or Border and Immigration Agency or UK Border Agency reference number from my 2-year spouse visa or my ILR visa, which is required in 1.1 of Section 1 (Personal Information) of Form AN?

Try the letter you got when your passport was sent back. I should start with the first letter of your surname. If you haven't got the letter, when did you get ILR?

I got it in Oct 08 at PEO but I forgot if such a letter was given to me.

If I do not fill in the reference number, would my application for citizenship be rejected?

Hello

If you don't know your home office reference number, just leave it blank. It does not effect your application.
