Post by Rudgbet » Sun May 24, 2009 7:45 pm

l was born on 1949 in Ghana but was then the Gold Coast and under UK and Colonies until 1957 when we cease to be Colony.

l move to Britain and later got married in 1988 and naturalise in 1997.
but before moving to UK l had kids born between 1969 and 1979.

QUESTION:

CAN I TRANSFER MY CITIZENSHIP TO MY CHILDREN BASE ON THE NEW LAW:
person who has a British mother currently has a right to register as a British citizen under section 4C of the British Nationality Act 1981 if:

I don't really understand any of this but I think u r asking if ur son can stay in the UK.

EU citizens can come and go because the UK is part of the EU, nothing wrong with that.

Your son isn't British or an EU citizen so he has no rights here, so the answer is he'll have to leave, and if he overstays he'll possible even get a ban from entering the UK for up to 10 years.

Also ur signature doesn't match your story in the your post hence the confusing from me.
