HSMP Extension

Hello All,

Me and Mrs(Dependant) are currently under old HSMP which expires on 31 July 2009, i need your help on below questions.

Any help really appreciated.

1. Does extension means converting my visa to Tier I general ?
2. Do i need to qualify on points again or prove it with documents ? I have 105pts on new Tier 1.
3. When can i apply for extension? Can i go in person to get the visa quicker ? What are the fees for me and mrs ?

Also can someone direct me to a good covering letter. Any other information is really appreciated.

Question 1- yes
question 2- yes and No.
Question 3- You can apply in August and also use the search button.

if you getting 105 points, you don't need a cover letter unless your case is convoluted and do apply before your current leave expires. It is better to apply atleast 5 weeks before current leave expires.
