Dependant visa

Hi

I have a querry on student dependant visa.

My wife is studying in UK i want to visit her during my holidays. Can anyone suggest that shpuld i get dependant visa? I want to have it because i will be visiting her on regular basis. I am doing a very good job here in my country does it effect on my category visa? Kindly anyone help me.
