Is Birth Certificate mandatory for dependnets file?

Is Birth Certificate mandatory for dependnets file?

Hi all,

Pls suggest Is it mandatory to produce Birth Certificate of dependents of Tier1 g Visa?My dependents are applying seperately in June.

In my kid's Birth certificate my name is not reflected ,but fathers name is present ( only name , w/o surname) .so do I need to submit BC? Is it mandatory?
Or we need to show other relationship docs. Passport of the child has my name and the dad's name correcty printed. we have school docs which regflects both our names...

Any one in this situation before?

pls help!!
