VFS-News From today( 04-06-09) 1 GBP =80 INR

Hi All,

We had a narrow escape!!
From today all Tier1 visa fee will cost 54000 INR.
From today, the Exchange rate for GBP in India( as per VFS) is 1GBP = 80 INR( Till yeter day it was 1GBP = INR 75).

We submitted our Application for Tier1 (G) dependnent on 1 june.

However, I called up VFS. Got reply that have received new guidelines from BHC that Exchnage rates will be considered as per the date of application submitted i.e Biometricsa taken, mainy for Maintenence Funds.
