NARIC letter obtained last yr + degree not in HO database

Hi,

One of my friend has done PGDM (MBA) from an institute in india. This institute is not listed in the home office database. However this friend had got the qualification validated from NARIC last year when the home office database / point based calculator was introduced.

Will the last NARIC letter of compatibility be applicable currently if he applies for HSMP ?a

Has anyone already been rejected Tier 1 visa where the degree/institue is not mentioned in the HO database but has been approved by NARIC as equivalent to Uk masters. Or has anyone been approveda a Tier 1 with NARIC letter.

HO has updated its list of MBA institutes sometime back. May be your friend can find his institute now in PBS calculator.
You have anyway got NARIC letter, so it shouldn't matter. You clear to apply with it.
