state pension for elderly parents in India

Post by jonbon » Mon Jun 08, 2009 1:32 pm

Hi All

I know its a stupid question, but is it possible that my parents in India are eligible for receiving senior citizen state pension, if they stay here with me and become UK citizen?

I am a UK citizen.

Regards.

I dunno the answer (I suspect/hope no) but by Christ it's a cheeky question, no wonder BNP/UKIP got votes this time around!

I'm no right-winger - in fact i am a bit of a commie but I supsected there might be a right-wing backlash in the UK ages ago and now it's happening.

If it takes hold tho I'm off to Germany or Russia!

But, let's face it it's a bit unfair that someone who has never paid into the welfare system should get the benefits so let's hope...

I held back quite well there I thought....

I'm getting pissed of with 'can I bring my parents over posts' - if they are so concerned - why come here?

I'm up for a banning - I can feel it...

You may escape a ban by entering plea of 'unsound mind', or better still, 'balance of mind disturbed' by provocative posts....don't think the Mods would disagree with that.
