NO 28 days prior bank statement is required till 30/09/09. put all your money not less than 7400 uk pounds + balance college or uni fee and keep in your account till you receive your passport.

Is not it only for students applying within uk for extension not for initial application submited backhome? Same old rule applied for initial student visa application.
