HSMP Visa

Post by dubbu » Thu May 19, 2005 2:46 pm

Hi,

In my visa, there is no where mentioned HSMP. Is that fine or should I speak at the Home Office? Moreover, they have put a comment 'Work and any changes must be authorised'....What does this mean?

Where can we find out about shared accommodation or PG? Any links or friends who would like to share?

It looks like you got a Work Permit visa (specific when some employer apply for you). You should contact the EC officer that issued it to correct the problem, or you won't be able to get employed in the UK. Do not lose the decision letter. Do not travel to UK with that visa.

They should re-issue you a new visa, free of charge, if that was their mistake. Where were you applying for EC?

Regards,
A.
