Can I switch my HSMP to tier 1 dependent while I am in UK

Can I switch my HSMP to tier 1 dependent while I am in UK

Hi,
Can anyone help me on this?

My wife and I are in UK under HSMP Visa. She has to extend her HSMP visa and I am willing to apply as a dependent. Can I apply with her while I am in UK or I need to leave UK for applying?
Please help me.

From my experiance you will have to apply from your home country if you wish to switch from HSMP to Dependendent...
