Got my Tier2 but my student visa has no cancellation stamp

Hi,

I came here on a student visa in august last year but just got my Tier2 visa recently but my old student visa has not yet expired and it hasnt been cancelled by the HO either. Is that normal? ok? or do i need to contact HO and ask about it? If i travel back to my country, will it create any problems for me?

New VISA automaticaly overrites the old VISA in UK.. so dont worry
