Got Tier 1 ...but should I travel?? Urgent...

Dear All,

I am in dilemna after getting Tier 1 stamped valid from June 2009 to 2012....due to some personal reasons I am thinking about not travelling now...my query is can I apply for another Tier 1 with current Tier 1 still valid after 2 years or so...Is there any procedure to get this visa revoked so it does not affect my status while applying in the future....please suggest so I can plan...

You can enter UK till the expirey date mentioned on your visa i.e. 2012. You won't need new/different visa or extension till 2012. However, extension in 2012 will have similar condition like it had when you applied for current visa.

You might not be able to apply once your Tier 1 expires in 2012(Depending your condition). You might need to apply for fresh Tier 1 than.

If you will be able to earn enough points for EARNINGS points duirng your left 1year stay in UK then u will be able to renew ur existing T1 G visa.. exsisting visa if not used at all will not create any problem for ur future visa.. u can give geniune reason in cover letter at the time applying.. 2012 is very far..
