Immigration under Green Card Scheme to Denmark

Hi,

I am thinking of applying for immigration to Denmark under the Green Card Scheme (http://www.nyidanmark.dk/en-us/coming_t ... scheme.htm). I currently live in Pakistan. The process seems quite simple, but the website doesn't have the following information:

- Application fees
- Where to apply (You can't just walk up to the Danish Embassy in Pakistan. Any idea about appointments?)
- Since the funds requirements is quite high, I was thinking of just applying for myself and then apply for my family once I've gotten a job there myself. Any idea whether that's possible and how long that would take, if at all possible?

I'd be grateful if someone could answer these questions for me.

And as a dane who has left Denmark even I become shocked over the price level whenever I go to Denmark.

You will need aprox 3-4000 dkr (6-800 usd) for rent a month (if you can find any as most are available only throuing housing assciations for members who have been members more than 10 years)
You will need aprox 4-5000 dkr (8-1000 usd) for food
Transportation within the greater Copenhagen will cost you aprox 1200 dkr (200 usd)
You pay 46-68 per cent tax for each crown you earn. However, I as a skilled server engineer would probably make 35-40000 dkr (5000-8000 USD) a month but I will only have aprox half of it in my bank account after tax etc.

Good luck mate... You will need all of the luck you can find. Danish is VERY difficult to learn and danes are very dearly beloved (they call it nationalistic).
