when applying for ilr after 2 years on a spouse visa, if there is not enough documents/evidence, proof of living together you can apply for an extension and if an extension is granted how long will it be? 1 year or 2 years?

In these circumstances, the form FLR(M) requests the same documents as form SET(M), except for KOL. So, if you have satisfied the KOL requirements, then you should apply for SET(M).
