ILR via HSMP - requirement for dependants

Post by Londonite » Sat May 28, 2005 4:21 pm

I understand the requirements for ILR. However, its not clear if our dependants have the same restrictions.

If, for example, my wife left the UK for more than the 6 months allowed, would she still be eligible for ILR when I am?

Many thanks,

Londonite

Hi,
You can extend your application to your family even if they don't lived here the 4 years. As wife and children of a ILR holder they are entitled to the same, asuming they haven't roken the immigration laws and they have a valid visa, then they can get the ILR even if they went home 10 months....
