Post by RAJ2007 » Mon Jul 13, 2009 4:25 pm

Has anyone recently applied for ILR (10yrs long residence) by post? How long do they take to process this type of application?

Well general idea is approx 6 months, could be more as i have read in past few months on this board it takes a while specialy for LR.

Why you are not applying in person at PEO? Just wondering?

magsi23,

I have tried last two days. got connected at 8.58am and by the time I speak to a helpdesk person it is about 9.05am. they told the appt for ILR-10yrs LR gone. frustrating. I will carry on phoning. let's see.

Has anyone applied by post in the category of 10yrs Long Res.?

Do it yourself at PEO, used the post 2and half years ago and it has really gotten complicated, the guys are not really serious the last communication from them is that I had made several applications that had been refused, actually I have only made one application that they are still haggling about. Had to take up my case with the lawyer because the HO have been issuing conflicting info about my case.
