ILR Sucess at Croydon :PEO (WP + HSMP) : JR

Post by sp23 » Sat Jul 18, 2009 9:34 pm

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know I got my ILR stamped at Croydon office.

Documents :
3 P60's
Salary slips
Passport
HSMP approval letter ( pre-April 2006)

They need P60 's for the time u were on HSMP.

My appointment was at 11:00 AM. I reached late at 11:30 AM.(roadworks and traffic ). I would advise public transport :)

First there was a airport style security check....

then at ground floor you are directed towards a counter . The person at the counter checks your documents and validates your eligibility...

After around 20 minutes, I was given a number and asked to pay the fees at the first floor....

There was a small queue for paying the fees(only 2 counters were open
) wait : 20-25 minutes

After that I was asked to wait at the waiting area where they call your number...(wait 30 minutes )

The caseworker was very friendly ... i submitted the docs she asked for...

my hsmp aprroval letter + p60+ salary slips.

she went inside and did few checks on the computer...

I asked do you need bank statements , she said she will ask if required....

I was told to come back after 2 hours ....

I was also given a backdated letter + my stamped passport

start time : 11:30
end time : 15:00

I wanted to say thanks to the people who post helpful information in this forum... it really helps...

If anyone needs any information let me know....

Thanks and Good Luck...

How many months' salary slips did you submit?
Did you not include bank statements in the list of documents?

Thanks in advance.

Congrats sp23!

Are you a 1+4 hsmpian and why 3 p60s, I am thinking it should be 4? Sorry for probing more, unless you had no job for the 1st year.

Just wanna be sure so that if anybody is in this situation he/she can have a clear mind as per preparing for our ILR application.

Thanks.

sp23,

Congratulations.

Did they specifically ask for all P60s. ?

I only have P60s for last two years, will that be good enough or they will insist on all P60s.

thanks.

Hi ,

my case was WP + HSMP.

They need economic proof for all the years on HSMP. They dont ask proof for non HSMP years ie WP.

Hence only 3 P60's

Hope this helps...

GOT ILR AT CROYDON PEO ON 24TH JULY WITH 2 DEPENDENTS

Post by vj » Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:34 pm

Hi Guys,

:D GOT ILR AT CROYDON PEO ON 24TH JULY WITH 2 DEPENDENTS :D

My appointment was scheduled at 14:30. So, we reached Croydon at 12:00. Parked our car at NCP opposite to Lunar House and made our move towards PEO. We knew that we were early so decided to wander in the mall for a while and relax ourselves. We reached PEO at 13:00 and just took the chance to enter. Security guard asked us the appointment time and I told its around 14:00. He asked us to go back and stay in the Blue waiting Line as there is no enough room to take the people in. After 10 minutes security guard called us and asked to go through security and X-Ray Scan. We approached one of the counter, the lady on the otherside asked to give the Application Form, Last 3 months payslips, Bank Statements, P60s and P45s. She asked the appointment reference number and entered the details in the computers. She printed a page of our appointment details and gave backc all the documents with a ticket number and asked to make payment on the First floor. I paid the fee and started waiting for the ticket number to be called.

By that time, it was 1:45. We were waiting at around 15:15, case worker announced our ticket number. We went to the counter a smiling caseworker was there, she asked for the Form and Bank Statements, P45 and P60s for last 4 years, 3 recent payslips, child's birth certificate and photographs. I asked her if I should I give her my declaration and application for issuance of separate backdated ILR. Then she said I've got all the necessary documents and need to verify. She asked us to wait and covered her window. Around after 45 minutes, she called us to say everything is fine and you have been granted ILR, so you can collect your passports after 1 hour.

We were happy beyond imagination. After one hour we collected the passports and asked to check all the details are correct. All details were correct.

During whole episode, my biggest worry was 3 Fixed panelty points on my license which was result of SP30 : "Exceeding Statutory Speed Limit on public Road" mentioned in section 7 of application form. However, seems it did not affect the application.

Car parking Cost was £9 for 6 hours.

Documents Given:
P60 for 4 Years
P45
3 Months' pay slips
3 Month's Bank Statements
Childs Birth Certificate

Overall, it was good experience.

Happy Ending!!!!!!! :D

Congratulations on your success.
Having been thru this recently myself, I know what a big relief it must be for you.
Personally I believe this is an excellent forum, with members so willing to share their experiences and provide tips to others on their immigration journeys.

Yes, I did declare my Fixed panelty points in Section 7 of the SET(O) application form.
