I made a mistake

Can anyone tell me if I am eligible to apply for Permanent residency in August this year based on 5 years stay based on my case below:

In 2004 September 1 I got my employment document for work permit. I submitted in October when my leave to remain expired and was rejected and was asked to go home.

However, I stayed and won the case and a WP was grated in may 2005. Assuming I was initially granted in september 1 2004, can I apply for my PR this august?
