Post by adil2009 » Mon Jul 27, 2009 12:32 pm

Hello Dear,

I am on work permit which was issued on 2008. My wife got her dependent visa on March 2009. Now she is planning to come over UK. Because of her study she was not able to fly march 2009.
I have question ,is there gonna be any problem for her at port of entry in London. because her visa was issued on March 2009 and she is flyin now.

Please reply me i am really worried. Thanks

Usually the Immigration officers do not have any problems with the Dependents.. they are strict with the Main applicants.. so she shd be fine

But, If she is visiting for the first time.. make sure she has:

1. Address where she will be staying
2. TB medical report and x-ray save some time standing at the queue;
3. most rarely - where does ur hubby work?

Valididty of VISA for 3 months

I heard that, once they issue VISA they need to fly within 3 months of the VISA issue date or else the VISA will not be valid.

IS that true?
