URGENT HELP IGS-PSW---PGD

hi

can any one help me out on this please............

I got IGS from aug 2008 to aug 2009 on my PG Diploma degree.Can i apply for PSW extension(under Transitional arrangements) with my degree(In Aug 2009).

yes its trasitional u just need to send ur passport and 3 months bank statement with Â£800 balance in ur account 4 eash day.dont worry it would be okay

Hello mate..dont worry at all. if you have minimumu of 800 pound in your account for atleat 90 days, you should be able to get a visa.and do not send any extra documents...

i was in IGS, applied for PSW under transitional arrangements and got my visa in 10 days..all i sent them is bank statements, 2 passport photos, my passport and fully filled correct application form..hope u will get a gud sleep after you see this message..all the very best..now just sit back and relax...........

Well why not use the previous month statement. Just order a most recent statement and apply now instead of august. Why not give them the statements from 8 Aprl to 8 July but make sure that balance is Â£800. U can also order statements for each page of your account. The most recent statement must not be dated no more than 1 month old.

Do u use online banking plus have u got another account like savings with the same bank plus whats the balance in your account. My solution will work but i need to know the answers for the above first.

You can use online statements but they need to be stamped plus need to have all the required information on them plus the bank letter for validity. Normally online statements do not have the required information as u name, account number, address plus the statemenst issue date. I wud not take this risk. Wat i wud recommend you to do is to start transfering Â£1 or Â£2 in your savings account from now on then transfer the money bak into your current account so u have transaction untill the 8th august. Keep doin it untill the 8th august and make sure that the statement page on the 8th moves on to the next page. For example if on the 8th august the sheet number is 73 so u keep transfering money everyday so it appears on that sheet (Â£1 or Â£2) and then the next sheet will be 74. So at the end of sheet 73 u will have transaction ending the 8th august. Then order teh bank statement sheet upto sheet no 73 (even if you have to apy for it). U will receive them in 5 working days. Hop u understand what i mean.

now i got requested bank statements from 8 may - 7 aug and

original statements from

23 apr - 22 may **(got a problem here.no balance from 23 apr - 7 apr.means the first page of this statement has less than Â£800 but from second page(start date 8 may) to 8 aug the balance is Â£800 )

23 jun - 22 july

will get the stt from 23 jul - 8 aug

my worry is which statement to put and will it be ok if i keep the original statements?(will he check the entire stt date or the only date which is on the top)

help me out on this plzz...............

U need to submit the statements for example (8th May to 8th Aug) do not use the case of (8th May to 7th Aug). The most recent statement must be dated no more than 1 month old before the date of the application. U need to send the original bank statements and not copies and printouts. Do not include and statemets where u balance is below Â£800. If u make sure about about what i have sais then u will be fine. Do not give them any reasons to refuse the application.

Well why not use the previous month statement. Just order a most recent statement and apply now instead of august. 1. 8 may to 8 aug is fine.
2. Why wait for the bank to send u the statements just order the most receent statement now which has got transaction on the 8th aug, wud be fine even its got more transactions after the 8th august.
3. The problem is that u shud have ordered the statements before as it normally takes 5 working days as u visa is expiring on the 20th.
4. U need to apply before the 20th as its an IGS application and u need to have valid leave for a further 1 year.
5. See my previous reply for online statements as there are some requiremenst for that.

My advise to you in u case as u visa is expiring on the 20th is to follow the "LETTER FROM THE BANK" as it wud be easy to get the letter and tell the bank about the period u want to mention (See the PSW Guidence for full details on wat the letter shud include). U might have to pay for it but its better to pay for the letter rather than having the application in trouble.
