URGENT.... IN PERSON APPOINTMENT TOMORROW, PLS HELP ASAP

HI ALL,
my brother has appointment tomorrow for his hsmp extension .all his documents r ready except one bank statement for the month of January. it was missing, he requested in the bank for a copy and tried to get one but he has not recieved till now. he has got all his payslips but his payslips for this month cannot be verified because statement is missing.
he has also attached his P60 and he is claiming points on £31,000, if he deduct earnings of that statement still he can claim points in the same range as the difference is just £1000.
he is confused about attending the appointment, his visa will expire on 13th august 09, so he has the chance to send his application in post.
please advise does this one missing bank statement really affect the decision regarding visa approval or refusal.

pls. advise ASAP.

Your question doesnt seem to be very clear. if he is missing a statement, better not to attend, there is no point rushing it.

You mentioned he has P60. what period is he claiming his salary for?

Please be very careful that one can only use p60, if the period of claimed earnings is April 08 to March 09 in this case. Considering the extension is happening now, I cant see how can you use P60. he seriously needs to do some work on his application and i strongly suggest not to attend the interview and may be seek professional help considering the time left

Thats perfectly fine. Mention it in the cover letter that you are claiming earning points for just 11 months as you can not provide supporting bank statement.

thanks for response,
he is claiming points on two sources of income and period is 21st july 2008 to 20th july 2009.one source is fine and has all documentary evidence for that.for the second source i am inquiring
he is claiming points on his job from 21st july 2008 to 5th april 2009.he has got all payslips and P60 also. he has all bank statements except one of January. so what u advise
