HSMP JR - Can I request a refund of ILR processing fee?

Hi All,

HSMP JR has set the old rules back for us, like 4 years of qualifying period for ILR. Thanks to HSMP Forum for that.

But, as part of the old rules, the ILR application fee was 0 for Turkish citizens. But now, it's £750 per postal app, and £920 per PEO appointment. Do you think that I can claim this back from Home Office?

There is no harm in asking. To be honest I think it may be hard to get it, cause with the other people they are refunding just the money paid for the extension only rather. Ideally they should be charging just last years ILR and refunding the extension fee.
