Urgent consideration for processing

Guys, Can anyone how to request for urgent treatment of application. This is for hsmp---->tier 1 extension. I need my passport for an upcoming business visit.

Covering letter some ideas for putting across

"I kindly request that I have to travel to my home country due to unavoidable circumstances hopefully by mid of November 2008. I would be truly very thankful if you can ponder my application under urgent treatment. However, please do not withdraw my application if urgent treatment is not granted."

I have also included the booking details and trust me it is always better to have some proofs/evidence to support your request.

For UT (urgent treatment) you need to take care of the following points
1. Should send UT request well in advance 2-3weeks before ur travel date
2. Letter from company regarding ur travel
3. Flight tickets supporting ur travel
4. most imp.. u need to mention in the cover letter that: If Caseworker can not decide the approval process befor ur travel date.. u shd ask him not to cancel/withdraw the application.. if not they will cancel the visa processing and send ur docs back...

Thats relevant for HSMP and not Tier-1, I think

For sending an UT request for Tier-1 applications, use a Change of Circumstances form. Mention the reason in the other / miscellaneous section and provide evidence to justify the UT request.
