Post Study Work (Time of Application if Visa still valid)

I have graduated in July 2009 and currently in UK. I just recieved the information in a workshop about PSW in July about the papers needed for PSW visa.
The issue is that my student visa is still valid till 4/2010 , as i was given credits from the university in my first year and I jumped half a year ahead in my course.So I graduated in July this year.
I will be preparing my documents along with all the funds , paperwork in December 2009 as I need to keep the 800 or more for 3 months and show all relevant documents.

Will my visa application be considered OK as I am applying early, as my visa expiry date is still way too far?

Yes your application will be deemed as valid. I know someone who applied in June 09 with a visa expiring in Mar 2010 and got the visa in two weeks. You only need to be concerned about your documents and maintenance fund requirements.

I am appying in December even though I graduated in July, hopefully that would not be a issue i guess ..

1. PSW can be aplied anytime but before u student visa expires
2. I applied on 22nd July 09, received the visa on 11th Aug 09 and i still had a valid student leave untill Oct 09.
3. My PSW visa replaces my student visa with immediate effect.

So u r fine to apply anytime before u student leave expires.

1. For PSW, u need to apply within 12 months obtaining the qualification.
2. U r good to apply in december.

Passport recieved - 9th Jan 2010
Visa stamped - 7th Jan 2010
