Going abroad before PSW Application

Post by grad86 » Wed Aug 26, 2009 12:21 pm

Hi everyone

I will be completing my Masters degree in September. My department will provide a letter confirming the completion but not the result. The results will be conveyed in November/December. Now since I will not have anything to do in that period I plan on going back to my home country, and come back to get my results and apply for PSW. I am told by people that this is not a good idea because I will face Immigration difficulties when I return because I will not have a good reason of coming back. Is this true? Also, my student visa expires on 1st Feb so I will still have 2 months if I come back in the end of November. Also, I hold a job offer and hence I have every reason to come back. Some words of advise will be appreciated.

Cheers

1. My best advise is to get the PSW and then go bak home.
