Funds needed for 28 days:when this rule stared for extension

Post by tuliprose » Thu Sep 03, 2009 5:26 pm

Hello mates,

one my friend got refused his student visa extension.
He got that objection that his funds were not in his bank account for 28 days.
I remember, it was not necessory to keep the money for 28 days for students before.

Would you please confirm when this rule started to maintain funds for 28 days?

Thanking you.

Hi

This is called transition arrangement and you are right.Till 30 sep 2009 you do not need to provide 28 days bank statements. This is clear in home office web site.

You should appeal and mention that through these transition arrangement you should not be refused for 28 days bank statements. You would win eaily.
