UK Payslips require company stamp?

Post by flytouknida » Sat Sep 05, 2009 1:39 pm

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for visa extension. I recieve my monthly payslips on post. But in that payslip, my company elbum is not there. My company name is only there.

I am not understanding what is company headed paper?.

I am sure that payslip is not taken a printout from white paper because the words (Payments, National Insurance Number, Employee Name, Employee no, Net Pay) are already there in that payslip. Every month they just print my salary details and tax deduction year to date.

Can you people please suggest, Shall I need to take stamp and sign on payslips?

Thanks and Regards
Nida

Hi Nida,
If you pay slips aren't printed on company headed paper then ask the accounts dept to Stamp them for you otherwise Home Office will winge about them and might not accept them.

Thanks for your replies guys.

What is the meaning of formal payslips?.

I am getting monthly by post. It looks like standard payslip.

Company headed paper means company symbol must be there ?

Thanks in advance
Nida

not necessary... my payslips got only my employer name printed and not the logo. I got my extenson with out any problem. It is very difficult to explain how UK formal payslip looks like :D

Just to be on the safer side, get a letter from employer stating your salary as claimed.

All the best!

Not necessary for payslips. That is only applicable for the letter from company. Payslips generally does not have company logo on it. I used payslips with without logo and got extension successfully.

It's fine if it looks like any one of the images given here.
