Why after Sep 10th in particular? Any particular reason. And Do they ask for T.B. certificate? Myself I will applying end of Sep. and I really need to know about this case. Maybe we should share some information , but I am not applying from Pakistan. Should be the same requirements I guess.

There isn't any specific reason for 10 September as me applying by end of September so want to ask other people to share information and also want to know people how long it has taken to get their visa who recently applied (With in the span of last two months).

For T.B test don't know what are requirement in your country as you are not applying from Pakistan. But if you are T.B test is expired and you applying outside u.k and you are going to apply for over 6 month visa you have to take it.

I see, I think your documents are complete except you need to make sure what is written in these documents and letters. Make sure they state whatever the requirements here:

http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/howtoapply ... tstudywork

1) From where did you get the ??100 transaction? The document says the bank statement
should show transactions only, but never mentioned the amount really?

2) Do we have to submit bank statement and a letter from the Bank or just a bank
statement showing the required details? Document says either one as long as it contains all the details they outlined in the previous link.

3) Yes, T.B. screening applies to some countries I guess.

I think it is OK to provide more than one evidence when it comes to maintenance fund ( bank stat.+ letter) although it states one or more... so..

No there is no limit or ruling for 100 pound transaction ... What I meant I have done one transaction in the account every month .... So bank statement will be showing three or four transactions for total 90 days...

Keep in mind its a foreign currency account so dont really need to withdraw money ... So doing three or four transaction in last three month would it be enough. Keep in mind my balance never went below 2800 pounds in last three months

Yes I can show statement or letter but no harm in showing both as every thing is genuine.

Any idea for processing time from Pakistan???

I think the processing time is not that bad. Takes from 5-10 days normally. If you apply yo Visa Application Center (aka VAC) you can check that in their website for you country.

You could have held the money in your local account with your local currency also. They use the Oanda currency converter at the time of application.

I understand even local accounts with local money will be considered. That is why they use the converter. I am keeping my money in local currency in a local account.

Hi there, I am just wondering if we need to present police registration with our application. I believe applicants inside the UK are required to that... any thoughts?

Yes if you are in U.K you need to submit register with the police But it depends which country you come from ... Lets say Chinese students/people have to submit their Police Registration certificate with the application ....

Brother ,

Make sure your statement is not older than a month , on the date you apply and if you are USING LOCAL currency statement thn , make sure you have enough of the extra money ( £2800 +) to be on the safe side because conversion of amount changes everyday.

i would like to ask , do i have to book an appointment with Gerry's ? or would you explain the process of applying from Pakistan as i am not aware of that yet.

Regards, when are you planning to apply.

There is no need to ask Bank letter format as all the bank have the format for the "Maintenance Certificate of Account Holder"

And this letter is usually addressed to whom it may concern not British High commission ... You really getting from Bank :D :D

For more information Click below and read the instruction provided by the British Home office (Refer to Page 20).

AOA
Im applying for PSW in Oct.from Pakistan.
I randomly came across this thread and was intrigued to read that
