Tier 1 general-Combination of self employment and employment

I am in a post study work VISA now.
I am eligible for my Tier 1 General after adding both salary income and self employment.

1)Is this is ok to show combination of both income?

2)For salary i have pay slips and bank statement. Can anyone say what doucments i need to show in case of my self employment income?

3)How many years of VISA been issued under Tier 1 General?

4)My post study work VISA expires in 15th March 2010 and is it ok for me to apply my Tier 1 General by end of January? (is there any minimum date to apply before current VISA expires?)

For the self-employed earnings you will need to have your set of accounts accompanied by a letter from your Accountant confirming the details in your accounts.

It will be valid for 3 years with the option to renew for another 2 years after that.

There is no minimum date. You can apply at any time you can satisfy all requirements.
