Dear all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for FLR even though student visa expired whilst waiting for HSMP?

If your student visa has already expired you have to leave the country and on getting HSMP approval, apply for EC from your home country.

Impact, did you lodge an FLR(IED) form simultaneously with your HSMP application form? If not, you are an overstayer the day after your student visa expires and you will have to apply for EC (be it HSMP or student) from your home country.
