Urgent help needed

Guys I applied for my Tier 4 visa at the chennai vfs office on 17th september. My course starts on the oct 5 and the orientation on sep 29. I gave the expected date of travelling as sep 28. I am still to hear from them. Am getting a bit nervous given the fact that they dont work on the 2,3 and 4 of oct. Is there any way to escalate my problem to the british high commission? They are not answering any calls..

As 2,3,and 4th are holidays for the british embassy, u may expect the outcome only after 4th.Ask your university for an extension telling them your situation they will definitely give an extension
