visa expiry

Post by hsmpinfo79 » Thu Oct 01, 2009 6:31 pm

Hi

I have made my application just now and my visa expiry is by the end of October. Considering the Waiting times updates in the UKBA website, I feel they are going to open my application only after the visa has expired.
Would this be a problem?
I had applied well beforehad, around 2 months in advance but since my photots were old, the application was send back to me after 3-4 weeks and I could apply just now.

Your response is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Date of application is the post-mark date on the envelope, not the day the envelope is opened by UKBA.

even if you not receive your passport before your expiry date its not a problem and you wont be considered overstayed, as long as someone has send the application by post before the expiry date its correct .

good luck
