I know its easier said than done, but you have to be patient. They will do some checks and if you are ok and did not have any other gap, than you are going to be fine.salars wrote:Hi,
I applied for ILR thru the Premium Service. They were unable to make a decision on the same day bcos i had a break of 3 months 8 days (total in 4 years - 160 days), 3 years ago. I had explained this gap in my coverletter as being away partlyon business. They said it was a valid application and needed more checks. Basically cos of the gap.
Anyone has thoughts on this? Would this be considered? It was not a straight refusal though.
Fingers crossed.
I must say it sounds strange to me .. normally in marginal cases they will discount weekends . 8 days is not long and also u r well within 180 days. I think you are unlucky here but you dont have to worry .. you will be ok as u r still under 180 days. I didn't count my wekeends. u should have done the same or asked someone heresalars wrote:Hi,

I finally have had my ILR granted after a series of questions and letters from previous employers being supplied that i indeed travelled genuinely on business.
