Tier 1 Received Yesterday ( within 24 Days)

Post by sujyo » Fri Oct 09, 2009 9:40 am

Thanks to all of you for your support specailly to Chesiregoan, Push, tnv ramesh.
I was on a work permit in UK and swithced to Tier 1 General and had applied by Post. All my support to apply was this forum.

Applied on (Posted) : 15th September

Money deducted : 17th September

Visa stamped on : 7th october

Passport received on : 8th October

Guess the processing time is bit faster now.

Note: If you have a good presentation pack probably it works out faster.

Once again thanks to this beautiful forum and the site administrators.

Congratulations Sujyo...
Gud to see that you received the Visa pretty quickly..

I was just wondering if the information given in the HO website is not entirely correct.

They mentioned that - from the week commencing 5th Oct they will look into applications received before 15 Sept...

Yes i had included a self addressed envelope.

I feel the only reason it was fast because I had presented it very nicely.
Someone did comment me what decorations u have made:))

The whole idea is to make it easy for the case workers.

Yes I am definitely going to devote some time to help others ...

Thanks!

The easier it is for case worker to navigate through your application, the better it is for him to make decision faster(obviously better for you too). To do the same make sure you use indexed organised application, so case worker can find all details by navigating to individual sections of the application. Don;t just dump all documents in one envelop and send. Better to arrange in a folder with transparent leaves and proper cover letter etc etc.

In a nutshell, application should represent Highly Skilled Person ;-)

Case-worker will follow the path you have provided, to decide about your application. Agreed or not agreed would be upto the evidence provided by you and the discretion of caseworker (in some cases).
