travelling to ireland with an eglish residency permit

hi, am nigerian and i have a parmernent leave to remain in england. do i need a visa to travel to dublin for the weekend?

Yes.

British and Irish Immigration systems are completely separate. So a visa/residency permit valid for one of these countries is not valid for the other country. You have to go to the Irish embassy in London to get a visa.
