Has anyone had an experience changing sponsors under TII

Hi,

I am a work permit holder; my WP was granted in Oct. 07 and I was working here but I was made redundant 3.5 months ago, my company hasn't sent the notification to the Home Office (they are going to "support" me and they won't send any letter until I find a new job) however under the current economic situation is very difficult to find a job (I am a tax accountant) however I am having some interviews...hopefully something will come up soon.

Do you know if there is any problem applying under Tier II after 3-4 months, please share your experience.

Do you know how long could take since you send your documents to the HO to get your "transfer" of WP, I am going to be working under almost the same job description (Tax Accountant).
