I have an IELTS certificate for my english language that I took in Sep 2007 as I was planning to apply for HSMP.. but did not and remained on Tier-2.
Now I want to move to Tier-1.

Can I use a IELTS certificate that is over 2yrs old..?

IELTS validity is for two years. But some other guys on forum got away with expired tests. I would take a fresh one. If you want to use the older one, you can do it on your own responsibility.

Also, does the same apply for a NARIC comparibility letter?
In the online PBS, I get 0 points for my PG diploma..
However, I have a NARIC letter saying its equivalent to masters..
..but the NARIC letter is over 2yrs old..

That should be no problem. You can use that NARIC letter for the comparison of qualification.

Do I need a new NARIC letter?

Thanks
