Do I need biometeric details taken?

Hi Guys, Can anyone help me with this question:

I have applied for Tier 1 extension. Initial permission was under HSMP for 2 years that expires end of this month. Would i need to have biometeric information taken?

As far as I know, currently immigrants under HSMP/Tier 1 and living in the UK do not need to provide biometric information. Check the guidance/UKBA website or wait answers from senior members.

i second myegin11.. you dont need this biometric test..

hi,

My wife is applying with me for HSMP extension in the dependent form there is question like did dependent give any biometric details.

My wife gave biometric details in India, so do i need to mention that in the form,

Will they ask my wife come again for biometrics .
