Absence from UK

Hi,

Have gone through a few posts My question is

How are the absences calculated. For e.g, If i go to india in 23/12/2005 16/01/2006
- will this be 23 days excluding departure and arrival dates or 15 days excluding weekends and departure/arrival dates as well.

can some one point out to the official guidelines on these rules, or share your personal expenses.

definitely exclude departure /arrival days. not sure about weekends

Weekends are included, the only days that aren't are the departure and arrival days.
