Tier 1 Dependent Visa Accommodation proof

Post by poornikris » Sat Oct 24, 2009 3:40 pm

Hi

I am on Tier 1 visa in UK. I am staying in a friends place without paying rent. My husband is going to apply for dependent visa from India. Even after he comes, we would contiue to stay in my friends place without rental agreement.
I am not sure what kind of accommodation proof I can give since I don't have a lease agreement or utility bill in my name.
Can I get a letter from my friend stating that me and my husband will be staying in her place. I can also provide her rental agreement.

Can you please let me know if these documents are enough

Regards
Poornima Krishna

You can provide utility bill as a proof of your address(bank statement/mobile bill etc). You can get a letter from your friend some sort of NOC (or from her landlord if you can).
