Time taken for Cheque (Draft) clearance

Hi all

I have send my application for HSMP over 28 along with a cheque (Banker draft) on JP morgan chase bank thru our loacl bank (HDFC Bank) My application was received on 6 th July this month and so far no communication from them if it has been cleared or not . I sent a mail on Charging.Workpermits@ind.homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk , they sent me mail stating "

payment has processed successfully. Please see page 2 of the application

If your payment is rejected your application will be returned to you.

You will need to allow for the payment to be processed, until then we are
unable to provide any further information.

Can some one help me to understand the procees
Would like to ask how much time they normally take for DEmand draft payament clearance ?
Will they inform me refrence no or i need to ask /call them ?

Sahil,

they take somethign around 5-10 days to clear the payment and send the file back to HSMP team. You can not expect any communication form their side unless untill you initiate it.
