Maintenance Fund!

Post by zee_aziz » Thu Nov 12, 2009 1:27 pm

As per my circumstances plz advice me about maintenance fund; for getting in country Tier 4 student visa extension in new course

course already completed
level of course finished: (level 4) Diploma
finished last course: within last 3 months
Duration: more than 06 months (1 year)

seeking admission in
course level: Bachelors Degree
Dependants: 02
university location: outside london
Duration of course: 4 years with placement
Fees:
year 1=7300
year 2=3800
year 3=3800
year 4=7300

Total fees to pay in 4 years= 22200

Fees paid initially=3000 pounds to get visa lettters, rest in installments

Question1: simply how much maintenace fund should I have in my bank account if I have paid 3000 pounds as tuition fees?

Question2: For how many months: 12 months / 09 months/ 02 months?

Question3:my visa issued on 30.03.09 at Glasgow PEO, when PBS was to due to implemented next day...so im in different category ie Student general goint to be Tier 4 General?...does it make any difference?

You will need:
Remain course fee for the 1st year: 4300+
Maintains for your self for two month: 400x2=800
Maintains for dependants for two month: 400x2x2=1600
Total: =4300+800+1600
If I am wrong please correct it.

Money to be shown: 4300(remaning tution fee)+1200( 600x2 for ur two months living)+ (1000 x2 ur dependents)

Total £7500 please check for dependent as I'm not sure for how much.............u need roughly £8000 in ur account at the tym u apply.

Becoz u hv got ur before tier 4 started so u are treated as a general student switching to tie 4.

Hope this will helps!!

Cheers

Maintaince funds

Post by Kashif Gulzar » Thu Nov 19, 2009 2:53 am

Please include any advance fee towards your Course in bank statement.
As it was with me and many others the visa application was refused because i did not showed up the advance fee paid.
Its my suggestion to show Funds:
Tution fee for 1st year(in total)
Living for nine months of you
Living of nine months of two dependents

My course fee was 8,200 and living was 5,400. totaling 13,600. I paid 3500 in advance to get my visa letter. and showd a 12,000 in my bank account.the ECO refused entry as he was of the view that i needed 13,600 to show in my account and,My september session missed out. I have sent an appeal and still waiting for the reply for my Jan intake.
So its my suggestion please show tution fee for first year in full.
