Dear Mate,

As it is now 28 days I have got nothing from HO even the reference Number, I want to contact them tomorrow to get my Ref No and the status of my application.
1. Do you know their Tel No and/or email address that I can get this from?
2. Do you advise me to do so?
3. I should do a company business trip to another country in January and need to get their visa. Can I ask the HO to send me back the passport while they are processing my application?

if you need to travel in Jan 2010.. i think you have enough time its only 4weeks gone and you can wait for 2-3weeks atleast before you can withdraw you application and get it back.. may be do it atleast 2weeks before you want to travel...

I got my extension approved today, so dnt worry u too shud be getting urs today or tmorrow or probably by next week.
