Dear Members,
I've been following some discussions in this forum and have come to know that to qualify for ILR you can't stay for more than 90 days in one go outside the country and also the total stay during the past 5 years should not be more than 180 days. The guidance and immigration laws are not clear for example it just states "5 years continuous stay in UK". It nowhere states anything about 90 consecutive days of absence and neither about 180 total days of absence. Is it documented anywhere? If not then anyone can challenge the statement in court?
Thanks & Regards,
Rasin
