Where are you living with your wife?
Where did you do your training?

Your Moldovian certificate is not recognized in the EU, You will have to do an exam,for example in Germany you will have to do a a (prufung) exam,which germans do in the end of their medical studies to become doctors.In the UK you will have to do PLABS.
And as being a specialist it is even more difficult,you will need to do other exams to be able to work as a specialist.

Hi Guru and Majesic;
I live and work in romania for 15 years, i have romanian perminant residency card for all those years, my wife is romanian. I am from Australia. Now we are thinking to relocate in UK. I tryied to register in the general medical council as a doctor but they ask me to provide a document to prove that I have EC rights from a lowyer. I am not sure where and who to get this document.

ur wife should be excercising her treaty rights already in the UK,meaning she should be working or studying or living self efficient already in the UK.
I had the same problem.I contacted solvit and they gave me the same answer.

sacs,

As long as u have graduated from a non-EU state ,u will have to do a equivalence exam, the EU has a standard of 5500 hours of lectures and practice.
