My PSW Application and Timeline Blog

Post by bym007 » Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:56 am

As some of you might have seen me being active here in last few days, I have now prepared my PSW application documents and posted them today.

Here is how my application has been sent (in same order):

1. Tier-1 PSW Cover Letter (See Letter Template Below)
2. Application Form (with an envelope of photos stapled to it)
3. My Spouse's Dependant Application Form
4. Original Letter from my University (stating my start, end and award dates, and their degree awarding status)
5. Original Certificate of Award
6. Original Marksheets
7. My bank statement stapled together (with start and end dates dates to be considered highlighted in yellow)
8. Passports

Now waiting for the goodies! :P

Today's Update:

A. Application Posted:
18-Dec-2009 via Royal Mail Special Delivery

B. Application Received:
21-Dec-2009 (Most likely date, by guessing from A and B). Special Delivery tracking does not bring any valid details for some odd reason.
Exact Message: "Awaiting Delivery/Collection from PO Box", even though the parcel was never sent to a PO Address.

C. Application Fees Deducted:
22-Dec-2009

D. Application Confirmation Letter Received:
24-Dec-2009 dated 22-Dec-2009

E. Visa Stamped
19-Dec-2010

F. Passports to be Received:
21-Dec-2010 via Royal Mail Special Delivery
Delivery tracking has been updated and the delivery is now expected tomorrow.

G. Passports Received:
22-Dec-2010
