EEA2 APPLICATION WITHOUT WRS

HELLO ALL, WANDERING IF ANYONE CAN ADVICE ME WHAT TO DO. I RECENTLY APPLIED ON A EEA2 FORM , ANY DURING THE COURSE OF TIME RECIEVED A LETTER FROM HO, ASKING FOR PAYSLIPS N LETTER FROM EMPLOYER N ALSO EVIDENCE OF WRS, AS MY WIFE IS FROM LITHUANIA, SHE HAS BEEN WORKING FOR THE SAME COMPANY FOR 2YRS N HAD NO KNOWLEDGE THAT SHE NEEDED TO REGISTER FOR THIS.

1,WHAT I WISH TO KNOW IS THAT HAS THERE BEEN ANY OCCASION WHEN EEA APPLICATION HAS BEEN GRANTED WITHOUT WRS R SHE WILL STILL NEED TO APPLY FOR IT , N WAIT ANOTHER 12 MONTHS BEFORE ,
2.WHAT OTHER VISA CATEGORY CAN I TRANSFER UNTO WHILST I WAIT FOR THIS 12 TO BE COMPLETED ON THE WRS. EG FMRS. AS MY PREVIOUS STUDENT VISA HAS EXPIRED WHILST MY PASSPORT WAS WITH THE HO.
3.CAN I STILL APPLY FOR FMRS AND WRS AT THE SAME TIME
ANY ADVICE ON MY SITUATION WILL BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

going back to my situation, will i still be able to apply for fmrs, whilst my wife is waitng for her wrs to be processed , and if so can i place both application together since i still need her passport to apply for both.

i was previously on a student visa, of which i has expired whilst my eea2 application was progress, is it necessary for me to revert back to student statua whilst waiting for 12months to come to pass,

i would gladly accept any other alternative which may be available to me,

I think you can make a WRS application in person in croydon and it only takes a few hours as long as you have the documents to show you are employed. You have to go with letter from employer, payslips, bank statements and passports. If you been working for 2 years you qualify for resident permit and its free. You can apply in person in croydon but i think you have to make an appointment.

Eea family permit fir you, once the WRS reqs been complied with u then apply for resid. permit. I think this is the route. As regards FMRS, if it's the UK route u cant apply. Nothing to worry with the exception of losing a year in ur case. Although not sure if u can get a retrospective WRS card n certif. Although unlikely

thanks for your information..... i had no idea that can wrs applications can be made in person in croydon, i have all the documents required. and do they charge for same day service(wrs). my passport is already with the homeoffice for an eea2 application, however i am sure where i stand without registering on a wrs. should i request for my wife's passport and book an appointment for a same day service at public enquiry office.

jerseycrow, the Public enquiries office does not deal with WRS applications. Your wife will need to apply using the first Word procession format form to the right of this link.

5. How long will it take to decide my application?
We aim to consider 70% of applications within 2 weeks and 90% of applications within 4 weeks of receipt at the Payment Processing Centre.
Please do not contact the Worker Registration Team before a decision on your application is likely to have been made, unless you have an urgent enquiry. If you do need to contact the Worker Registration Team, please use e-mail wherever possible.
If you have sent your passport with your application, it is not advisable to make travel arrangements until you have received a decision on your application.

You will not qualify to apply for Resident Card until a year after she has been on WRS. In the mean time, you could apply for the Family members Residence Stamp, once she has obtained her WRS. Please note that the Home Office stated on point 4 of the Guidance Note of the Application form, that applicants who are not lawfully resident in the UK, would have their application looked at more closely, or this will be taken into consideration in their decision of their application . So i will advise you ensure your leave is up to date, up to the time you submit your application.

hello all, just an update on my pending request, my wife has finally recieved her wrs, however my initial appilcation on the EEA2 is still pending(called the homoffice and they said its still awaiting consideration AFTER 8months).

is it advisable to just wait it out to see the outcome, or to put a bit of pressure as it is already pass the 6 months deadline...or i can redraw my application and apply for the FMRS since she is now registered under wrs bearing in mind that my previous status as a student is expired whilst my passport was with the homeoffice. any advice will be much appreciated...my brain is completly exhausted with all this stressful decisions....please help
